BTW, when I first met Robert he was a hippie photographer living with other artists in a deconsecrated church they called Moon Mansion — decorated with enormous murals and lovely little vignettes (one corner was wholly Victorian, with old carpet pillows and beaded opera bags to die for).

When he said the one thing he could contribute to a party was Coke Salad, I thought I was about to be introduced to the wild side.  Imagine my let-down when I discovered that the coke was just plain old tacky Coca-Cola!!!!
